Implementing AI Computer vision solution to automate ship loading counting operations.
In this project our team focused on automating ship loading operations. One of the biggest challenges in this environment is human counting errors in often harsh weather conditions. Our solution suggested a simple and effective solution - eliminating humans from harsh work conditions and automating these counting operations.
Simple CCTV cameras were used to monitor the work area, while advanced AI models analyzed data in real time to count bags loaded or unloaded from ships.
This solution proved to be 100% accurate, not presenting any issues or miscalculations in the process. Counted objects can additionally be sent to WMS, ERP and other systems used by the customer.
The solution was integrated, prepared and trained in 3 weeks.
